- Et spoke to the ex-prez of the JPD said that we should pursue becoming a real congregation

I’m going to be driving back from camping Thursday night and won’t be able to make the meeting.
For Outreach, In October I’m the speaker for the Cedar Lane Alliance to talk about FUUCSL. http://www.cedarlane.org/alliance.html. It turns out I know one of the members of the new UUA Board of Trustees and she may be there also. (Though Natty is a bit burned out at this point; she’s on the current Board and is only going to continue with the new board for a year.) Just before GA Natty and I talked a bit about non-traditional congregations, including SL, with the two Moderator candidates; now that the election is over this might get on their agenda–but the UUA has bigger problems that have to be solved first.
BTW, I owe the ex-prez of the JPD a one paragraph teaser for my Alliance talk: if you have something you think I should include let me know. The format is a 2-hour meeting with a bit of lunch in there. There are some formalities and I’ll have an hour to speak and then Q&A for another hour or two. Plus full internet and a projector.
