Discussion: At each LG meeting, I will provide a Treasurer’s report for the end of the preceding month. That way, going forward, we will be able to make accurate month-to-month comparisons. Beginning in March of 2013, I started paying rent for the Sanctuary at the rate of $25,000 per month, as decided at an earlier LG meeting. Sofia.

UUtopia – Zyzzy

  • UUtopia is fully occupied

  • Freda and Hex may be leaving their parcel in a couple of months. Z isn’t sure. They are expected to continue to be active.

  • Belovan said she’s going to leave her parcel too. Much encouragement to hang around and remain active.

Elections

  • People are thinking about whether they want to continue

  • Zyzzy, Sofia, Darcy are planning to continue

Interfaith activities at the Library – Belovan

  • Peter has a database of people of different faiths here

  • Peter and Desire are working on contacting them

  • An interfaith dialog for the library

  • Monthly discussion panels

  • Celebrations?

New Business

PSD Conference and FUUCSL – Darcy

  • Darcy will be presenting a workshop on FUUCSL and UUtopia on Saturday, April 6, at 8:30am SLT to the Prairie Star District Conference.

  • People are asked to pop in if possible 8:30 – 9:30 am SLT

  • The Welcome Center, the French Sculpture Garden, Library, and the Sanctuary will be shown

  • 9 people registered so far for the workshop

  • Some church’s DRE is interested in exploring FUUCSL, SL, and UUtopia

Chapel Report – Desire

  • There were four weddings, two rescheduled for later in the spring, and two decided to go to another location.

Library Report – Belovan

  • Desire and Peter are working hard to get the Library Series up and running. Narrowing down a list of topics and dates. We are hoping to have interfaith panels monthly on vairous topics. Once the topics and dates are set I will give them to the LG. We are using dropbox and email to keep in touch outside of SL.

  • I’m getting started on adding information and changing everything to be owned by the Library Group.

  • We are having a steady stream of new people stopping by the library.
