FUUCSL Leadership Group Meeting of August 5, 2010
Meeting called to order at 6:30 pm SLT in the Fireside Room at FUUCSL.
Those present were Zyzzy Zarf, Sofia Freenote, Pomona Writer, and Joan Ixito.
Those absent were Etaoin Barcelona, Zena Silverstar, and Darcy Cedarbridge.
Guests present were Taith Farshore, Darrell Farstrider, and Del Sabra.
MINUTES: MSP: Minutes of the July 1, 2010 Leadership Group Meeting were approved.

OLD BUSINESS
- SIGNAGE
- Signage Report (Pomona Writer): A welcome sign with a map of the islands was made; it contains two additional signs – one giving information about the island with landmarks, and the other containing a ZyzzyPorter to take people to places on the island. The teleporter does not work to destinations outside the main island. Pomona is responsible for keeping these up to date, since she made the objects. The project with signs in the entrance to the sanctuary has not been tackled yet.
- Since Biz has not responded to requests to be given the sanctuary signs (and other objects), it will probably be necessary to make new ones. Everyone will contribute to list of things that need to be changed or replaced or just sent back, such as floating things; Pomona will keep a list. If anyone places objects in the UUtopia public area, remember to deed them to the UUtopian Group.
- The information given in the entrance-way will eliminate Minutes, and instead it will direct people to the website for that information. Sofia will do this.
- LEADERSHIP GROUP MEMBERSHIPThe Leadership Group membership (in groups) needs to be brought up to date. Only Zena and Etaoin can do this. Lilith is an officer of the group, but no longer serving on the LG. Pomona will ask Zena to do this.
- UUTOPIA EMERSON REPORT (Zyzzy Zarf):UUtopia Emerson is now part of our little archipelago. Set-up is completed. Curtis paid the initial fee and the 1st month’s rent. Next rent is due August 14. No Emerson parcels are available to us to offer to residents – Curtis is in charge of Emerson.
NEW BUSINESS
- Space for New Residents (Zyzzy Zarf):
- UUtopia island: Head has agreed to split his property. He promises to clean up his parcel. The now available land will be split into two 1024 parcels for new residents. Darrell Farstrider wishes to take the 1024 beach parcel. Taith Farshore will take the other 1024 parcel.
- New UUtopia Sim: Several people have inquired about parcels larger than the main island. There must be enough firm commitment to justify purchase of another island. Pomona will send a notice to the UUtopian list and perhaps the entire FUUCSL membership. Those interested are to contact Zyzzy about how much space they would want.
- Rescheduling LG Meeting: This will be done in the email list.
